My Christmas Piano by Roh Young-Sim

Roh Young-Sim, the well-known songwriter, pianist and occasional singer, will hold a concert series entitled "My Christmas Piano" from Dec. 23 to 26 at the Art Sonje Center in Sakan-dong, Seoul.

She will play only the piano, the instrument that the multi-talented musician plans to concentrate on in the future. Singers Lee Mun-Se, In Soon-Yi, Kim Jo-Han and trumpeter Lee Ju-Han will make guest appearances.

She gained fame as a songwriter, having composed some popular hits and released a few of her own albums. She also hosted a concert show on KBS for three years running. Her friendly, easygoing manner made her beloved by a wide range of fans.

Roh recently released an album entitled "My Christmas Piano." Recorded at the Rainbow Studio in Oslo, the album is full of piano versions of Christmas carols and Korean and international songs that were arranged or composed by the artist herself.

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 23-24 and 3 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 25-26 and tickets cost 20,000 won. Call (02) 557-4052 for information.
