About Son's Country
Jeong-Il, once jailed due to theft, steals again because of his partner Young-Sil but he meets and loves a polio girl Ji-Suk. When he is refused to meet her, Jeong-Il, a member of a criminal gang, rapes Ji-Suk. Though he tries to get out of his past due to guilty conscience about her, Young-Sil disturbs him. Then they sneak into a house of a concubine of Korean-Japanese big business man to steal. Later Jeong-Il determines to be reborn when Ji-Suk gives him a Bible. Jeong-Il and Dong-Jo are wanted by the police because of Young-Sil's betrayal while inspector Woo who knows about Young-Sil pursuits him. Jeong-Il and dong-Jo decide to rob Young-Sil's house but the police rushes there. They take hostage in catholic church and commit suicide. 4 years later Ji-Suk goes to Jeong-Il's grave holding her kid's hand.
