About Arbeit Woman
While Eun-Kyeong, a college girl, works in a room cafe to pay doctor's bill for her mother, she makes the acquaintance with Young-Mi and Seol-Hee. Eun-Kyeong lives with her own way while Young-Mi is materialistic and compromising. Seol-Hee is working for her brother's education but her brother feels shame on her. Even he engages in secret. By the way Eun-Kyeong's mother passes away in the end and she promises to marry Ki-Seok who consoles her. But he leaves her due to her past. Wounded Eun-Kyeong entrusts herself Mr. Jeong, a rich businessman. Eun-Kyeong turns her back coldly to Ki-Seok who comes back regretting his attitude and firmly determines to live only for herself even though the world doesn't understand her. Eun-Kyeong and Young-Mi put on makeup and go to work.
