About Happiness of an Unhappy Child
Due to Korean War, Jin-Ho comes to South Korea looking for freedom and way of life. He makes Deok Jeok Island, an isolated island, his home where he has lived with 3 generation. He tries to keep his home to the last but he spends his days with drinking after he loses his fishing boat in a strong storm. Then his wife Mrs. Joo abandons this island because of hard living and goes out to the mainland to make money. Even his son Ji-Man, a naughty boy, becomes disabled due to an accident. However he conquers over these helpless pains and difficulties with his power of belief.
