About Julia and Tokukawa Ieyasu
During Toyotomi invasion, a Korean girl is taken to Japan by Konish Yukinaga who later adopted her as his daughter. She enters a Catholic church and becomes faithful Christian. As Konish is defeated in war, Julia entrusts herself to church. Julia voluntarily goes into the castle of Tokugawa Ieyasu who is in power and intended to oppress catholic to change his mind. She doesn't bend over her belief in spite of his temptation and threatens. She is exiled in a solitary island in the far-off the sea where she keeps her purity and finishes her life as a daughter of Korea.
