About Sunflower that Waits for Night, A
There are a church and a hospital near 588. Master sergeant Kim from Vietnam is agonized over the origin of life. Sister shin of the catholic church entreats the agony to the God. Kim is troubled by a woman called Tori who lives is the same house with him. As Kim's wife dies of briquette gas one day, Tori's truth, that is, her love to Kim is revealed. Being tired with life Tori considers warm-hearted Kim as her salvation rather than ideal religion. Kim and Tori make love. One day Tori is thrown to the ground by Gae-Ko, her ex-lover. Kim, who finally realizes he loves her, washes and shrouds Tori's body with hot tears like a corpse shrouder of mortuary.
