About Wooden Horse Sent to the Sea
A college woman named Ju-Hee loves Lee Min-Wu, who is 11 years older than she is and a teacher of the school for the deaf student. He visits her home to get acceptance of their marriage from her parents, but is rejected and is transferred to a school at the Southern area of Korea. Both lovers are forced to be separated with pains. One day, she goes to the place where he works, in order to take care of him in hospital. After knowing that she leaves home, her father feels angry to fall down owing to high-blood pressure. She falls in agony and is finally separated from her lover. Fortunately, her father recovers health, while she is unable to overcome being separated from her lover so that she meets her lover again and begins to live poor life. Her mother encourages her, while she dies immediately after giving birth to her first baby.
