About Jongja Gol
Jongjakol is notorious for its infertility. While everybody leaves here, Song Dae-Mul and Bong-Nye come to this town. Lee Cheomji sends Song Dae-Mul to his daughter-in-law. When she is pregnant, the rumor spreads through out the town. The old men hatch a plot in order to succeed their family line. Bong-Nye is disappointed with the changed Dae-Mul. When other woman is pregnant, too, the daughter-in-law of Lee Cheomji drowns herself. While the villagers try to kill Song Dae-Mul, Sun-Nye appears this town and shoots him. She murdered a provost marshal in Kyeongseong and came to hometown in order to meet her mother before she leaves for America.
