About Wanderer, The
A high ranking local official of Seoncheon Kim Ik-Sun's grandson Byeong-Yeon feels insulted by the fact that his grandfather has surrendered himself to the enemy when the Hong Kyeong-Rae's revolt occurred. Finally, he gives up entering government service and starts the life of long wandering. Wearing a conical hat made of bamboo and with a bamboo cane, he leads the life of a vagabond lamenting and satirizing the corrupt society with sarcasm and joke. He also leaves behind a lot of poems cursing and deriding the world wherever he goes.
