About Anarchists, The
Shanghai of 1924. Sang-gu who lost his family at massacre in Kyong-shin meets them, members, at public execution ground in Shanghai for the first time. They all the time refined and neatly dressed enjoy taking their photos before undertaking, and participate in party with wines and beers after it. One day Sang-gu goes to Garcia Hall, a splendid bar, with them. Queen of Garcia Hall and Sergei's lover, Kaneko, fantastically dances and sings on the stage amid loud acclamations, and they are much delighted with her attractiveness. Sergei, who hits the pipe because of aftereffect of torture, is attacked by Chinese gangsters and then get away into Kaneko's home with help of members... Sergei and Sang-ku assassinate a Russian according to Mr. Yun's instruction and leave for Moscow to take back their gold. Right before departure they take a photo at a Chinese girl Ring-ring's photo shop. In the meantime, Ee-keun and Kaneko are attracted with each other. Sergei and Sang-gu succeed to take back the fund for their independence campaign in Vladivostok. However, Sang-gu comes back alone with only half of the fund......
In 1924 Shanghai, five members of a rebel group called the Anarchists are in the pursuit of their own individual freedom, and a society with no authority or domination. During an age when Shanghai was the hub of muddled ideologies and corruption, the Anarchists stopped at nothing to bring their own sense of justice to light.
Using any form of terrorism, be it bombings, guns, knives or simply with their bare hands, they used whatever means to survive and get paid. Then one day, the man who hired the group to do most of the dirty work betrays them when Seregay, the most respected of the bunch, gets shot in the head by a sniper. Things turn for the worse when all the members of the terrorist group discover that their cover is blown. While on the run, the Anarchists' days become numbered as all their terrorist deeds come back to haunt them when they are hunted down by both Japanese and Chinese authorities.
