About Farewell
Hyeon-Su, a crewman of an ocean-going ship, leaves for sailing and is missing, leaving a four month pregnant wife, Hye-Young. She receives a notice of his missing and death and spends difficult time for three years. And she remarries Heo-Jun. On the other hand, after living alone in an island for two years, Hyeon-Su is rescued by natives but stays with them one more year because of an endemic disease. Returning home, Hyeon-Su looks for his wife and finally finds her another man's wife. Hyeon-Su and Hye-Young suffer form this fate. After all, Hyeon-Su leaves, wishing his daughter's happiness.
