About Hong Gil-Dong
Kil-Dong, whose mother is a maid, tries to rescue Seon from Seung-Ku's assault but instead he is stigmatized and scolded by Minister Hong because he is a child born of a concubine. Kil-Dong, who doesn't have a mind for glory and the government post but is usually raged at irregularities and corruption of the government officials, becomes a righteous thief after being taught by Great Priest Hak-Jo. With a variety of activities, Kil-Dol wakens the officials to the attention. Kil-Dong, who visits the grave of Seon sacrificed by the officials' harassment, saves Minister Hong from the jail and goes his way to live in seclusion.
