Popular stars Kim Joo-Hyuk (Lovers in Prague) and Han Hye-Jin (Jumong, Be Strong Geum-soon) sparkle in Terroir, an original romantic series set amidst the intoxicating allure of the wine business.

It's not exactly love at first sight when wine expert Tae-min (Kim Joo-Hyuk) bumps into Woo-ju (Han Hye-Jin) in France. Tae-min is looking to buy a 1945 Chateau Mouton Meyer, which ends up in Woo-ju's hands. After losing his job over the missing wine, Tae-min decides to reclaim a traditional Korean bar owned by his late uncle and turn it into his very own wine restaurant called "Terroir." This does not go down well with the current barkeeper's headstrong granddaughter, who is none other than Woo-ju. She determinedly stays on at Terroir with the intention of getting her family business back.

Filmed partly in France, Terroir is full of romance, high stakes, dark secrets, and all the thrilling elements of a vintage Korean television series.
Lee Woo Joo meets Kang Tae Min, a man who was taught in the art of tasting wine. Tae Min inherited the wine production from his family and opens Woo Joo's eyes to the world of wine. He has a steady relationship with his girlfriend, Ji Seon, but wavers when he meets the spunky Woo Joo. Joey Park has a deep, dark secret that has haunted him for most of his life. He accidentally set the fire that killed Tae Min's parents. How will Tae Min feel when he learns that a friend caused his parents' death?

Tae-min's (Kim Joo-hyeok) uncle loves wine and wanted to become a wine master but had to take over his brother's company - Hangang Construction after his death. When he finds out that Tae-min likes wine too, he lets Tae-min take it up as a profession. When Tae-min was young, his uncle took him to France and let him explore himself in the world of wines. It’s there that he met Ji-seon (Yoo Seon), who was adopted as a baby, and Tae-min feels his wounds healing with the help of Ji-seon and the wine.

One day, Tae-min leaves for Bordeaux, France to grant the long-cherished wishes of Mir Trading President Yang Seung-geol and his uncle who is now in the final stages of his cancer. Their wish is to taste the 1945 bottle of Chateau Mouton Mayer. Meanwhile, Lee Woo-ju raised by her grandparents in a traditional Korean winery called Nancho, decides to leave for France after her boyfriend studying abroad in France hasn’t called her for a year. At last, Tae-min gets his hands on the wine, but the bottle ends up being switched with Woo-ju is raspberry wine...
