About Shim Chung
Cheong lives with her blind father Shim Hak-Kyu. With 300 sacks of rice, she sells herself to a Chinese merchant who needs a young girl as a sacrifice to make her father open his eyes. She plunges into the sea of In Dang Su. Later she revives and becomes a queen. The king holds a party for the blind to find queen's father. A few days later, Cheong's father comes to the party and finally he opens his eyes. So do rest of the blind there.
