Movie star Shin Eun Kyung from My Wife is a Gangster returns to the small screen for the first time in eight years with the latest SBS drama Perfect Match aka Bad Couple. This quirky romantic drama sees Shin starring as a career woman who suddenly decides wants to have a baby, but not a husband. She selects a handsome and intelligent professor, played by Ryu Soo Young (Save Your Last Dance For Me), as her perfect gene candidate, but it'll take some perseverance and pursuing to win over the conservative professor. The drama co-stars Yoo Gun (Hello, God!), Ji Sung Won, Choi Jung Yoon, and Byun Jung Soo.

Choi Jae Chun (RYu Soo Young) is an university professor with "perfect genes." The drama is about an editor of a fashion magazine, Kim Kang Ja (Shin Eun Kyung), who suddenly develops and urge to have her own baby despite opposing the idea of marriage. The story will talk about Kang Ja striving to look for a man with perfect genes to accomplish her mission. Jae Chun happens to be her "target" in order for her to accomplish her mission. The story later develops as Kang Ja must persuade him to it without any commitments, which is a problem because Jae Chun doesn't believe in the idea of sex before marriage.
