About Cutting Sadness with the Knife Which Sprouts From
While he tries to get a job at a pier in Mok-Po, Jae-Ho is deprived of Shik Gu Mi by president Oh, an evil broker, and he gets aboard on a Meong Teong Gu Ri boat, a slavery boat for shrimp fishing. On that boat, there are runaway boy, a man who was supposed to get aboard on ocean-going ship, an oldman who has nowhere to go, an ex-convict of robbery and etc. Also there is Sun-Young, a prostitute, whom he met in the island where he stayed. Jae-Ho tries to escape in vain due to Jeong Bok-Chun's betrayal and he is beaten. Jae-Ho becomes friendly to the boatman unlike before. Owner of the boat and captain suggest Jae-Ho to be a boatman and he sets up a plan to escape keeping watching on seafarers as a boatman. Jae-Ho proposes escape to seamen but unexpected dark shadow throngs him.
