Kim Chung-Yong, who studies in Seoul, lives with his college fellow Su-Tae and Su-Tae's sister Young-Ran. While he helps Young-Ran to prepare entrance exam, he falls in love her and marries her. Due to a message of Su-Tae's death in a battlefield in Viet Nam, Young-Ran is shocked to miscarriage.
