About 444, Jongno St.
Shin Jeong-Su, a former gangster, lives a happy life with his wife Sang-Hee, a singer. Cheol- Kyu, Jeong-Su's gangster friend, asks him to assassinate someone. At first he refuses, but gets persuaded to do the job, which results in being put in prison for murder for 12 years. Serving his jail term as a model prisoner, Jeong-Su gets released and starts his new life. One day, Cheol-Kyu visits and says that Jeong-Su's daughter Mi-Won is actually his daughter. When they are about to fight against each other, Sang-Hee's cry and Mi-Won's innocent looking face cause Cheol-Kyu to turn his back and leave.
