Kang-Ae and Young-Hun couldn't marry due to their great difference in family background and material richness despite their love for each other. Young-Hun, desperate, falls off the precipice, but gets saved by an American tourist and adopted to his family. Young-Hun returns to Korea as a rich man after his rich foster father suddenly died. Thinking that he couldn't marry Kang-Ae because of lack of money, Young-Hun starts his own company and plans to destroy Seok-Ki, Kang-Ae's husband. As Seok-Ki's company gets in danger of bankruptcy and Kang-Ae gets expelled from home due to her mother-in-law's misunderstanding, Young-Hun tells them what he's done, for Kang-Ae's happiness. Young-Hun realizes the futility of his attempt to regain his love.
