Hyeong-Rae becomes a beggar against his will due to the rule of real name in finance. While he is panhandling in Apkujeong Dong, he saves a college girl who is kidnapped by flesh traders. But she runs away as she sees Hyeong-Rae. Hyeong-Rae is annoyed by noise of his neighbors : Mr. Kwon, a construction worker, Young-Shik's parents who dispute everyday and Keum-Ja, a barmaid who makes groaning sound in her room. One day Hyeong-Rae meets Yun-Ju as he got her back her pockpocketed bag. Since then Yun-Ju puts a coin in Hyeong-Rae's can every single day without exception. As Yun-Ju's graduation comes near, Hyeong-Rae goes to a public bath, dresses up buying a suit in a tailor's shop and goes to her school. As Hyeong-Rae, who follows her by taking a taxi as she gets in a car, witnesses she goes in a luxurious house, he is deeply disappointed. But Hyeong-Rae goes to Yun-Ju's house early in the morning every day to polish her parents' shoes and clean around the house. After all Yun-Ju's father allows him to marry her because he is impressed by Hyeong-Rae's pure love and he and Yun-Ju exchange sweet whispers of love in a beautiful seashore. This is, however, only his dream and Hyeong-Rae is disappointed when he is awakened by a crushing sound of his can on a street.
