About Fools in the Woods
A widow Mrs. Yoo lives in an isolated house with her retarded daughter Bok-Hee and servant Man-Bok. Bok-Hee and Man-Bok sleep together but nothing happens between them. Mrs. Yoo often sleeps out with Mr. Ko who is selling the bread in the marketplace. Man-Bok comes to realize about woman through a prostitute Hyang-Ok and make Bok-Hee be pregnant. When this is spread out over the village, Man-Bok is beaten by the peoble and kicked out. But Mrs. Yoo is still kind to him. At the hot summer day, when a fire breaks out at Bok-Hee's house and Mrs. Yoo and the child are sublimated, Man-Bok sees the apparition of the child and runs into the fire.
