Kang-Yong the king of the back streets of Shanghai helps the independence fighters and, after the country is liberated comes back to his country. Settled at Myeongdong, he make a round of the main cities in order to guide the scoundrels who are stirring up troubles taking advantage of the confusion after the liberation. One day when Namro Party try to win him over to their side and he refuses their suggestions, Namro Party forces him to enter their party taking his family as hostage. He does not give in to the end and, after rescuing his family, punishes the members of Namro Party.
