Han Ki-Ju, who publishes a novel about Vietnamese War in serial form in a monthly magazine, leads almost separated life with his wife due to feeling of helplessness and aftermath of his participation in Vietnamese War. One day he receives a phone call from Byeon Jin-Su, an ex-fellow soldier. And ther he goes back gradually to the nightmare of the war. His unit is deployed to valley of death in Hnba Mountain for their last mission. While they stray around in the jungle of death that is full of traps, booby traps and poisoned arrows, unit members fall down until 7 of 47 finally survive. Byeon Jin-Su, suddenly appears in more than 10 years, asks Ki-Ju to kill him with a gun. Why he comes to Ki-Ju is he needs somebody to kill him. Han Ki-Ju levels the gun in his forefront. Though Byeon Jin-Su's war is over, Han Ki-Ju's war now starts.
