About Water Lady
After being injured in the Vietnam War, Jin-Seok returns to home country and gets married to Sun-Ok. The couple quarrel each other due to economic matters sometimes. One day, Sun-Ok brings some bamboo from her maiden house to set up a bamboo processing factory and do good business. She is a stutterer and gives birth to her son. The son imitates his mother's stutter so that he is sent to a special school for the disabled. On the other hand, Jin-Seok likes a girl named Chu-Wol very much and maltreats his wife (Sun-Ok). Chu-Wol makes plot to disturb Jin-Seok's home. Jin-Seok, however, is relieved from Chu-Wol's plot. Sun-Ok develops so called Bamboo wife product. Her son makes correction of stutter habit and returns to his parents.
