About Sandwich Man, The
In The Sandwich Man, Kunshu is an uneducated young man who advertises films on his body to make a living. A meager promotion distances him from his son, and he must re-connect somehow. In Vicki’s Hat, Wang Wuhsiung, discharged from national service, is sent to a coastal town to sell cheap Japanese rice cookers. There he meets Vicki and discovers a sad secret under her hat. The Taste of Apples is what A-Fa’s family get a sample of when A-Fa is sent to an American military hospital after being hit by a jeep.
