About Life and Death of the Hollywood Kid, The
When the ferryboat crossed river, Myeong-Kil, an elementary school student, is fascinated by Byeong-Seok who flies and dives down to the water from the end of a cliff of Mapo ferry just like a bird. Myeong-Kil meets Byeong-Seok in the same class of middle school and gets to take a pilgrimage of films with Byeong-Seok who has profound knowledge about films. Though he can't understand Byeong-Seok's unusual adherence on movies, Myeong-Kil is troubled with him due to jealousy. As they go on to high school, they organizes a cinema club called '7 gun men of wilderness' with Du-Han, Seung-Kil and jjoba Seed. Myeong-Kil came to associate with a high school girl named Hyeon-Suk as he meets her in a theater. As she gets to like Byeong-Seok who is more profound in movies than him, Byeong-Seok came to breakoff friendship with him due to envy and jealousy. Then Jojoba Seed falls down avoiding controllers when they go to see a movie. On the funeral ceremony of Jjoba Seed, Byeong-Seok and Myeong-Kil reconcile with each other. After finishing military service, Myeong-Kil asks around to meet Byeong-Seok. When he looks at wretched state of Byeong-Seok who lives off a barmaid, Myeong-Kil feels pity for him. Years later Byeong-Seok comes to see Myeong-Kil who works as an asistant director in Chung Mu Ro after graduate a college.
