About Woman Holing a Rod
Kang Kyeong-Ho goes to matrimonial center as the last resort in Seoul life. His hope to meet a wealthy widow is broken by a professional fraud matchmaker Su-Kyeong, and Myeong-Ho too is degraded to professional matchmaker and becomes a play toy of the rich married women. Meanwhile, he comes to know Min Yu-Seon a concubine of an extremely rich man and becomes her paramour. Myeong-Ho feels skeptical about this kind of abnormal life and he demands Yu-Seon to have common relations from now on, but as his asking is rejected, he returns to his hometown. In a new circumstance of sound life, he recalls Su-Kyeong who was true to him but she is already another man's wife. He comes up to Seoul and gets stuck in a bog again but gradually becomes citizen that he has hoped so much.
