About Lovely Children
Su-Yong and Yu-Yang lives in a slum with parents. Their father crippled because of accident while he is gathering news and their mother never loses smile in spite of poverty. One day, Su-Yong falls down because of heart disease and the mother overworks in order to make money for operation expenses, but it only causes her to die. The father too writhes on wheelchair to earn money for his son's operation, but he falls down as well. As things pass to this, Su-Yang gives up study and begins to work in another peoble's house. When Su-Yang's composition on 'Brother's face' is selected in the writing contest sponsored by a magazine house, Su-Yang family's pitiful situation is known over the country and a lot of donations are sent to them. Consequently, it makes Su-Yong's operation possible. The scene in which Su-Yang is receiving the prize is broadcast alive through TV and when the operation is successfully ended, everyone in school and the town are delighted.
