About Yong Ku and Yong Pal Yi
Yong-Ku comes to Seoul with his son Jin-Yi and his servant Yong Pal from country according to his wife's will. He is deceived but feels love in the complicated city life. But he is deprived of his small basis of living by hoodlums and the only thing he counts on is his son who studies very well. Finally Jin-Yi becomes top of the school. Yong-Ku is advised by Jin-Yi's teacher to live a peasant life and decides to go back home to cultivate farms and paddies. In the end he goes to his home with Jin-Yi.
