About Detective Bae Sam-Ryong
A narcotic squad officer is killed and the police start investigating. Chief Yoon leaves the investigation only to Detective Lee, excepting the laggard Detective Bae. In the meanwhile, with his own reasoning, Detective Bae traces the case and reveals Madam Kang's lover is Dong-Su, his old friend of hometown and thought dead. Detective Bae arrests Dong-Su, who has followed the illusion of Seoul without knowing the real aspects of it, is involved in criminal groups and then commits murder. But Bae let him meet his mother in the country within the limited time. As Dong-Su doesn't come back by the time when Dong-Su promised to return, Chief Yoon sends detectives.
