About I Can't Live Alone
An old man Jeon works very hard on a fishing boat to pay off his debt from ship owner Mr. Lee. But he never allows his son Dong-Kyu to take on the boat. Meanwhile Eok-Bo, Mr. Lee's son, loves Dong-Kyu's sister Su-Jin one-sidedly. He attempts to rape her but at the dangerous moment he is held back by Young-Jung who has just come to this island as a doctor. Su-Jin and Young-Jung fall in love since then. While young-Jung goes to Seoul to get money to build a clinic in the island, Su-Jin gives birth to a baby. But as Young-Jung returns from Seoul without getting money, Su-Jin becomes mentally disordered. Old man Jeon dies in the sea because of strong wind and waves. Mentally disarranged Su-Jin goes to Seoul where she recovers from illness thanks to Young-Jung's brother and family, and Young-Jung builds a clinic in the island with his parents' help.
