About Oki Makes a Judge Cry
Oki supports her family working in a textile factory, when her father dies from the shock after failing in securities investment. However, it is very hard for her to pay her father's debts with her small salary. Therefore, she attempts to kill herself and her little brother by taking poison. Only her brother is dead, and she survives. She stands at the bar in charge of the killing of a lineal ascendant. She shall be sentenced to death, but the judicature forgives her in consideration of the extenuating circumstances and allows her a new life.
