About Cicada Sings in City, A
Man-Keun and his sworn brothers Keo-Chil and Kong-Pal come up to Seoul and build a doll factory. Man-Keun falls in love with Seon-Ju the daughter of the lodge and has luck to marry her. But, while he is hospitalized, Keo-Chil and Kong-Pal dispose of the factory and run away with the money. Consequently, Man-Keun leaves for the abroad to earn money. Seon-Ju loses all money husband has sent to a fraud and leaves the house lured by a fraud president Huh. Returned from abroad, Man-Keun goes around searching for wife. He encounters Keo-Chil and Kong-Pal on the street and regains his property from them and with the help of the police, meets with his wife. He forgives his wife and promises to work hard for the tomorrow.
