About Until the Heaven Calls Me
Sang-Do cannot realize his dream to return to home town even on the New Year Holidays. He drinks at a grogshop and meets Ok-Ja on the way to home. He expresses his feeling to her, but is not accepted by her. On the other hand, Ok-Ja's lover is beaten to go to hospital. By taking this opportunity, both Sang-Do and Ok-Ja meet at the hospital and hold wedding ceremony. One day, they take over a grogshop from a widower named Choi, and start to operate the grogshop. Sang-Do picks up a large amount check while cleaning up the front of his grogshop early morning. He is in agony between a good opportunity to become rich and his conscience. The check disappears and he is arrested by the police. In the meantime, Ok-Ja looks for whereabouts of the check.
