"Cheese In The Trap" is an adaptation from a webtoon of the same name, and it depicts the life of Yoo-jung (Park Hae-jin); an undergraduate who is rich and handsome, with outstanding achievements in both his studies and athletics. He has a mild and demure appearance but harbours a hidden dark side. Only an ordinary female student, Hong Seol (Kim Go-eun) could see through his facade. However, they both seem to always be at odds with each other in their daily lives. The originally quiet life that Hong Seol enjoyed on campus shifted dramatically. Unknowingly, she fell head over heels in love with Yoo Jung. And thus, the romantic yet mysterious love story between two undergraduates began to blossom.
