An orphan Dong-Shik leads a life of lecturer and deplores over the reality which he cannot support any more. While living in the world of male prostitute, he realizes at first sight that Su-Ok is the same kind of person with himself and proposes her to marry him. Though Su-Ok has spent her childhood with mother who was a foreigner's whore, she graduates from university but when her lover Deok-Ki finds out her environment he deserts her. As Dong-Shik gets wounded, Su-Ok comes to live with him in his apartment. When they long for the life of ordinary peoble, Deok-Ki visits and insults Su-Ok. Not being able to stand it any more, she murders him. Soon after, Su-Ok and Dong-Shik run to the blue sea and sets out to swim in search of their paradise.
