Goo Bon-Seung

March, 2000

Date of Birth : September 11, 1973
Occupation : Singer, Actor
Country : Korea

Biography

Mr. Goo had a lucky coincidence when he met PD Eun Kyung-Pyo by being assigned to a fixed guest on On the Air by MBC on February 26, 1994, his television debut. He became a well-known actor when he played a young resident in a hospital drama. He also he made his singing debut in the number Only for You. Already well known, he made his reputation as a singer by winning a prize for new singers in 1994. What he really had wanted to do while he was studying music in Myungji University was to compose movie music.

In the beginning of 1995, he released his second album featuring dance music blended with R&B, just before he was assigned to military duty in February. He released his third album, Charisma, after three years in the military. Accessory, a revival rhythm of the 80s with a story of a well-known playboy who fails his love, was once the eye of the storm. And he, with a strong image of a dancing singer, tried ballads in his second album, A Trial. He also made an appearance in a mini series named Love and sang Love Song, a remake of a pop and scenery duet with Jang Dong-Geon in 1998.

Goo, an actor-singer, formed a rock group called Zen in January 1999. He produces his own albums, like Just One More Chance, very playful rock music!
